- Must be able to properly lift 50 pounds.
- Provide routine medical services at the requested facilities at least one day a week on a regularly scheduled basis. Service include, but are not limited to: oRoutine physical examinations of youths upon admission to the facility
- Perform physical examinations on the staff while they are attending training sessions at the department’s training facility on an as needed basis.
oOther examinations that may be required to determine if a physical condition exists that requires immediate attention
oEvaluation and treatment of general medical problems as requested by the medical staff
oFollow up and management of medical problems such as asthma, seizure disorder, allergies etc.
oPrescribing medications as necessary
oMonitoring of immunization records
oVision and hearing tests
oMonitoring weight
oProviding phone consultation to the staff during hours other than office hours as needed
