ELECTRICIAN LICENSED COORDINATOR

Description: Commonwealth of Kentucky is currently seeking to employ ELECTRICIAN LICENSED COORDINATOR right now, this vacancy will be placed in Kentucky. Glasgow State Nursing Facility is a branch of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services/DBHDID that is licensed for 100 long-term care beds. We provide 24 hour x! 7 days per week services for our residents with behavioral health, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. The Electrician Licensed Coordinator locates, diagnoses & corrects electrical problems in all electrical systems. The role maintains primary and secondary circuits, installs equipment, runs conduit, performs minor elevator repair, maintenance and repair of generators, and 'on call' duties as required.

Duties require working in an electrical shop and coordination of work of other staff. Selection Method : Qualifying: All candidates who apply and meet the minimum requirements are eligible for placement on the register for hiring consideration. Group : SKILLED TRADES Characteristics of the Class : Performs electrical work of all types and coordinates work of assistants or other licensed electricians; OR, performs all electrical work for a state institution or facility; and performs other duties as required. Typical Working Conditions and Unique Physical ! Requirements : Work requires climbing, crawling, bending and s! tooping.

Work involves the risk of electrical shock. Additional Requirements : Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.
