Regional Sales Manager

Location: Eastern Kentucky

We are seeking to a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager. The regional manager will be responsible for driving sales of Pediatrix Hearing Screen Programs to hospitals, physicians, and providers within an assigned territory! in the US Eastern region.

  • Develop complete understanding of Newborn Hearing Screen programs and services in order to effectively communicate and sell those products; maintain effective relationships with laboratory management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers within the medical community (i.e. physicians, nurses, educators, advocates, administrators, etc.).
  • Build a referral network with Pediatrix/Obstetrix physicians.
  • Source and identify potential clients for the Newborn Screening Program(s).
  • Identify and meet with decision makers to present the program.
  • Secure new business through contract negotiation and signing.
  • Facilitate onsite training and education for new clients
  • Provide highest levels of customer service in order to assure current client satisfaction; maintains sensitivity to all potential issues, communicates those issues to appropriate persons within the organiz! ation to effect rapid resolution.
  • Develop and execute! quarterly sales plans balancing activities between cultivating new business and maintaining and growing current business.
  • Source and order marketing promotional items, displays and presentations as needed to effectively enhance sales efforts.
  • Produce regular reports on sales activity, potential clients, sales cycle status, customer satisfaction, contract renewal status and other topics as requested.
  • Follow up on requests, needs, contacts, reports, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years previous experience of selling within healthcare settings required.
  • 3-5 years previous experience in sales or marketing to major hospitals preferred.
  • Previous experience selling Lab services is highly desirable.
  • BA in sales and marketing or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to travel 90% of the time.
