Primary responsibility is instruction in the assigned discipline or related field.

An Instructor reports to a department chair or associate dean.

Minimum Requirements

Master’s degree in nursing required. Must hold current registered nurse (R.N.) license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky by the employment start date. Minimum of two years nursing experience within the immediate past five years in functional area of responsibility. Demonstrated experience in the use of com puter hardware and software. Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

Terminal degree and teaching experience.

Physical Requirements

Working Conditions

The Instructor will teach in a typical classroom environment or an internet based environment. Travel to a Regional Campus or off-site location may be required.
