UK HealthCare Information Technology Services has posted the Clinical Programmer Analyst II (Patient Care Services) role. This role will be held accountable fo! r establishing strong credibility & collaboration with our physicians, customers, department leadership, affiliated organizations, all I.T. staff members including this Clinical Programmer Analyst II role. This is a highly matrixed organization which requires excellent interpersonal skills, persuasion and influencing skills, ability to lead large multi-disciplinary teams through significant amount of varied work assignments.

The Clinical Programmer Analyst II will be an integral part of a highly productive clinical applications team designing, developing and executing moderate/complex Allscript Sunrise Clinical Manager MLMs. Monitors performance of MLMs according to quality assurance polices/processes. Support and maintain MLM development documentation. Actively participate in unit, functional/system, regression and integration testing.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

1. Ability to analyze highly complex issues, problems and situations.

2. Knowledge of Sunrise Clinical Manager or higher.

3. Ability to design and develop moderate/complete Allscripts MLMs.

4. Ability to develop procedures, methods and/or concepts of analysis.

5. Demonstrated knowledge and use of effect! ive communication techniques and tools.

6. Commitment to detail.

7. Critical Thinker.

8. Knowledge of project management methodologies.

9. Knowledge of hospital and healthcare organization.

10. In-depth knowledge of clinical delivery of care in the acute care setting.

11. Ability to use Microsoft Project and Project Server applications.

Preferred Education / Experience

The successful candidate possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration/Services, Informatics, Business Administration or Computer Science. Additionally, candidate will have five or more years experience developing, maintaining, supporting clinical applications/systems with two or more years of experience implementing and supporting complex Allscript MLMs.
