Location: Frankfort Kentucky

Duties:
Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and others practicing in a Shared Governance model of nursing practice.

Assists with phys! ician rounding to ascertain plan of care for patients and provide update on patients.

Monitors Core Measure metrics.

Maintains reporting responsibility to Department Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor and Director

Collaborates with Cath lab team in decision making regarding patient flow.

Actively participates in performance improvement activities.

Addresses patient/family concerns/satisfaction issues. Informing department leadership of concerns.

Qualifications

I.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either ADN, BSN or higher preferred

Licensure/

Certifications: Must hold a current RN license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing. BLS required upon hire. ACLS within first six months of hire if experienced nurse, one year if new grad. Prefer certification in Professional area.

Experience: Three years plus e! xperience in Diagnostic Cath lab, preferred at least in simila! r size. One year Critical Care
