The Regional Manager is responsible for sales of the School at Work (SAW), Expanding Your Career & Healthcare Opportunities (ECHO), CareerCare and Catalyst Accelerated Performance Series (CAPS). Position is based in Louisville; the Company will consider locating the right candidate in another large Midwestern city.
Duties of the Regional Manager (RM) are:

Typical buyer is a Human Resource, Education or Nursing executive at an acute c The Regional Manager is responsible for sales of the Scho! ol at Work (SAW), Expanding Your Career & Healthcare Opportuni! ties (ECHO), CareerCare and Catalyst Accelerated Performance Series (CAPS). Position is based in Louisville; the Company will consider locating the right candidate in another large Midwestern city.
Duties of the Regional Manager (RM) are:
A. Meet and Achieve Sales Quota. Typical buyer is a Human Resource, Education or Nursing executive at an acute care hospital. Day-to-day work includes:
--Prospecting: The RM is responsible for prospecting and lead generation in order to build a sustainable sales funnel capable of consistently achieving sales goals within assigned territory. Heavy phone, Email and Web conferencing use to identify needs and CLC product fit.
--Qualifying and Closing: In-person presentations, conference calls, Email. Some proposal-writing is required.
--Providing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual sales projections through building a strong and growing sales funnel and maintaining an accurate and up to date opp! ortunity funnel.
--First year quota for new business for this position is $280,000.
--Anticipate being on the road for 5-10 working days each month; in the office on other days.
B. Comprehensive sales territory and account planning and execution.
--Analyze the market, company history and other factors to put together a territory plan.
--The RM also provides leadership and develops Account plans for large hospital systems headquartered in the territory.
--Use knowledge gained through selling to help team continually improve industry knowledge, competitive analysis, selling techniques, and product marketing programs.
C. Manage Regional relationships. Work closely with Client Relations staff to ensure customer satisfaction and outcomes; maximize add-on sales opportunities.
D. Requirements.
--Experience: 5+ years experience in new Account business-to-business sales, where decision maker is a corporate executive. Experien! ce in the healthcare industry and in telephone-based prospecting also r! equired, i.e. not strictly local territory, face-to-face meetings experience.
--Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and have prior experience in sales or CRM database, e.g. SalesForce.
