We are seeking a certified nurs! ing assistant with one (1) year or more experience in long term care for delivering exceptional care to our residents.
This brand new 196,000-square-foot center replaced the existing 83-year-old nursing home, adding an array of services in a community environment unlike any other in Kentucky. The Care Center’s unique design features six households connected to an interior Main Street, featuring outdoor sky imagery by National Geographic. With a library, arts and crafts studio, café, gift shop, salon and chapel, Main Street is a destination for residents, families and staff. Outdoor features include waterfall courtyard and playground.
The Masonic Homes of Kentucky is a leader in senior living communities and provides a full range of lifestyles and services for independent living, assisted living, short term rehab, personal and skilled care.
Provide direct care to residents within facility policies and procedures and report resident needs and concerns! to a licensed nurse. Utilize good hand washing techniques pri! or to and after direct resident care. Carry out isolation techniques, as required. Assist residents with activities of daily living as documented in the assignment sheets and care plan, and according to resident preferences. Maintain awareness of resident's whereabouts at all times.
Shifts:
Shifts available: 7a-3p; 3p-11p; 11p-7a; 7a-7p and 7p - 7a: weekends required
Basic qualifications:
Must have Kentucky CNA certification.
1 year or more experience in long term care.
