Description: Connections Healthcare Staffing is presently looking of Nurse Practitioner for ER right now, this position will be placed in Kentucky. Further informations about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. My client, a 400+ bed hospital in Western KY has a need for an ER NP. They are struggling to find an APRN who has NP experience in an ER. They don't want a new grad or some! one who worked in an ER as an RN and is now an APRN.

The ER is a 20 bed unit with 2 trauma rooms, 31,000 volume annually. They do not have a trauma designation but function much like a level III. Without a Neurosurgeon they send all head trauma out, as well as burns and peds hearts. They do not do transplant surgery, but do most everything else except when there is no coverage. Some ENT gets sent out because they only have coverage 10 days a month due to one not taking call any more. Their Peds numbers are a very small percentage. Hospitalist admit all unassigned. They use the Electronic T system for charting and there is U/S available at bedside.

The hourly rate is $47.50/ hr for 14 / 12 hr shif! ts/mon. 10a-10p. These shifts can be flexible if only 12 is worked the others can be made up at another time. Additional shifts over 14 will be compensated at $71.25/hr.

Of course this is an employed position which comes with benefits which include the usual health but also $2,500 in CME and 401K. Relocation monies would be negotiable.
