Technical Sales Representative
Position Summary This individual is responsible for ensuring total customer satisfaction within the IL installed base. The individual will perform installation, validation and training on Critical Care analyzers and Data Management Systems. This individual provides on-going clinical support, customer education and consults with customers regarding matters of regulatory requirements and compliance. Individual conducts sales activity as directed by Area Sales Manager.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Within assigned IL territoryâs installed base, responsible for ensuring total customer satisfaction, base maintenance and incremental revenue growth.
- Responsible for consistent sales interaction with Account Manager from lead generation through post-sales support.
- Achieves and maintains a high level of competency in technical knowledge of IL products and services. Strives to achieve similar competency regarding competitive systems.
- Achieves and maintains competency in positioning of IL products and services. Strives to achieve similar competency regarding competitive systems.
- Responsible for customer clinical & technical support and education. Instructs customer on proper operation and clinical utilization of IL products.
- Responsible for Data Management Systems (both stand-alone and networked systems); including pre-sales, installation and post-sales support activity.
- Performs product demonstrations. Participates in seminars, workshops and convention exhibit activities as requested by Area Sales Manager.
- Develops and maintains a territory account list and calls on each according to corporate required frequencies.
- Maintains appropriate aspects of the IL Customer Databases and Property Accountability Documents.
- Achieves and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Is responsible for complying with all appropriate ISO mandated policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Area Sales Managers.
- Bachelor's degree (medical technology, respiratory therapy, nursing or related scientific discipline preferred)
- Minimum of three years related experience (clinical preferred, DMS beneficial)
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication
