Facility has an outstanding community reputation, the largest quantity or Private rooms in the area, and a 24 hour dining program.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Director of Nursing Services to be responsible for all functions and activities of nursing services. This is a full time salaried position with an incentive bonus plan. Duties included, but not limited to the following: Manage overall operations of the Nursing Services department in accordance to company policies, governmental regulations, and Nursing standards Be on call for emergencies that nursing supervisor's aren't able to handle Investigate, prepare documents, and present information to appropriate personnel and agencies Participate in, monitor, evaluate, and make suggestion in Quality improvement programs Establish procedures relating to medication administration, Nursing equipment / supplies care, use, and stock levels Monitor, manage, and evaluate facility Nursing Budget and goals while maintaining the facility's excellent standard of careDirector of Nursing Services - DON Must be a Registered Nurse 3 plus years of long-term care experience Past experience in a management position supervising individuals Ability to relate positively and favorably in all interactions Ability to work with minimal supervision and organize and prioritize to complete multiple projects Ability to maintain regular attendance and travel as needed including overnight stays Pass drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry
