Responsible for successfully developing and creating relationships with medical staff, directors, managers of clinical and non-clini! cal areas for the primary intent of improvement of the core measure indicator rates. This includes establishing policies, procedures, standards and objectives in order to achieve the organizational quality goals. Supervises all functions related to clinical indicator improvements and serves as a resource to teams. Effectively demonstrates collaboration and teamwork for clinical improvements. Coordinates with other departments to provide maximum level of services to patient care.Coordinate with other operations and Medical Staff leaders the activities of the department related to Quality Performance Improvement, Clinical Patient Safety, Medical Staff departmental Improvement, Outcomes Improvement, Integrates Performance Clinical teams, JCAHO, Federal and State requirements. Facilitates support for committees, meetings and/or special projects related to departmental functions.
Qualifications
Education
:
Current KY RN license or eligible for! licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Kentucky (wil! l receive license within 9 months of hire), Master’s Degree in a health related or business focus from an accredited school preferred.
Experience:
Previous Related Experience Required: 5 years of previous Quality Management experience or experience with data analysis, aggregation, display, trend and pattern analysis and presentation required.
