Description: Premier Health Careers Inc. is currently interviewing Physician with SOME Occ med expereince f right now, this occupation will be placed in Kentucky. Our firm is working on behalf of one of our key client companies in search of a Occupational Medicine Physician for a manufacturing compa! ny in the Lexington, KY area. We will consider those BC in Occupational Health, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician.
Generous 6 figure salary

Details:
There are TWO clinics on site.. differences between the Two clinics is noted below:
Hours -

1.) In the clinic called the 2000 clinic :
Thursday and Friday - 9am-7:30pm
Monday (12:30pm-11pm)
In the 2000 clinic This is strictly OH clinic, respond to emergencies in the plant, workerÂ's comp injuries and treatment, stabilize injuries, ambulance will transport. Acute injuries, minor cuts, slip/falls, chest pains, RTW, allergy immunizations. Medical surveillance before RTW.
2.) Tue! sday or Wednesday - 1 day will be an off day , the other will ! be 8am-6:30pm in 601 clinic
In the 601 Clinic you will be doing medical surveillance, AEC, minor colds, hearing conversation, pre-hire physicals, MRO program, random drug testing, wellness physicals, PFT, Vision screening performed by support staff. Provider receives if needs follow-up.

Requirements:
BC occupational medicine is PREFERRED in the state of Kentucky. Strong clinical background required with at least two to five yearsÂ' experience in occupational medicine is required. We will consider GP, FM, ER or IM docs with SOME Occ Med experience.

More of what you will be DOING:
• Performs physical examinations as part of: periodic wellness or occupational health surveillance programs.
• Oversees clinical care provided by mid-level providers and nurses, technicians, and other assigned staff.
• Refers to other physicians those injuries or illnesses, which will require time off from work, specialty medical care, or! extended follow up.
• Assists in active implementation of company initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, AAAHC and other mandated regulatory or conformance regulations/standards.
