Location: Henderson Kentucky

Description: Community United Methodist Hospital, Inc. is hiring Nurse Extern (ICU) Supplemental right now, this job will be placed in Kentucky. For detail informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Assists the professional nursing staff in providing care during any age of the entire life span. The specific patient population served is reflected in the scop! e of care and practice statement of the assigned unit. The care is based on the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, in coordination with the medical plan of care. Under continuous, direct, on-site supervision of an assigned Registered Nurse. The RN should be immediately available and assigned to the unit with the employee. Follows a daily patient and unit routine assignment; with direction of nurse, sequences work in order of importance following established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Required Skills

An individual who is actively enrolled in a school of professional nursing and is engaged in clinical study. Requires a specific body of knowledge normally acquired through a school for professional nursing. Must have completed and passed the first semester of study and clinical experience in the school of nursing. May only perform to the level of ability as verified by the competency skills list from the school of nur! sing and those procedures reviewed during the orientation prog! ram at Methodist Hospital and competency verified by staff RN in accordance with the specified duties listed in the nurse extern job description. Requires either frequent, moderate physical exertion or occasional heavy physical effort as a routine part of job performance.
