Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Faculty Position

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - This 12-month, tenure track position requires a strong commitment to the education of graduate students enrolled in the college's Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Track and practicing with the interdisciplinary team in an acute care setting at UK HealthCare. This faculty member is expected to teach, advise and provide clinical supervision for students enrolled in the college's Doctor of N! ursing Practice (DNP) Program; engage in scholarship either th! rough a program of research or evidence-based practice; and engage in service at the university, college or professional levels. Qualifications include a doctoral degree in nursing preferred; a master's degree and doctoral degree in a related field will be considered. Active RN and APRN licenses in Kentucky, certification as an acute care nurse practitioner and a minimum of two years' experience in an acute care setting are required. Certification as a family nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist will be considered.
