Responsible for the Clinical and Management of the Department. Responsibilities include directing, supervising, and coordinating! of the Department. Collaborates with staff, management and physicians to ensure quality and patient care is being provided with optimum patient outcomes. Provides leadership, motivation and vision necessary to ensure continued quality patient care.
Essential Duties:
Establishes process to define qualifications, responsibilities, competencies and staffing needed to provide care and services that meet the mission, vision, and values of this facility.
Develops teams that can focus on immediate issues, move quickly, and achieve specific results as planned.
Continually defines, analyzes, and implements efficient workflow utilizing process improvement principles.
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program
Experience:
Preferred management or leadership experience in field of expertise.
Special Skills or Attributes Require! d:
Adequate conversational English is required in orde! r that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies.
Must also be able to walk, stand extensively, bend, stoop, squat, visually discriminate close objects, hear and distinguish normal sounds
License/Certifications:
Current State Registered Nurse License required.
BLS certification required.
