HR Business Partner/HRIS Specialist

Location: Elizabethtown Kentucky

Description: Hardin Memorial Hospital is currently interviewing HR Business Partner/HRIS Specialist right now, this position will be placed in Kentucky. The HR Business Partner supports the recruitment, retention, compensation, employee relations and communications functions to specific assigned clinic! al and non-clinical areas. This role is a strategic business partner, offering sound human resources guidance and support, in accordance with all hospital policies as well as federal, state and local laws and regulations.

An HRIS develops and maintains the HR Information Systems in collaboration with Information Technology partner resources. The HRIS will have extensive knowledge of hospital policies along with state and federal employment law, and thorough knowledge of hospital and departmental policies.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. PHR or SPHR preferred. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in recruitment and retention or comparable generalist experience. Human Resources experience in medical setting required (experience in Nurse Recruitment Strongly Preferred). An Associate’s degree in a related field and 7 years experience may be an acceptable combination of education and experience. Proficient level computer sk! ills in Microsoft Office applications, as well as HR informati! on systems is required (API, Meditech, Position Manager). Must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external customers and be proficient with knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.). Must radiate enthusiasm for exceptional customer service, possess the highest levels of integrity, and have a passion for work-life engagement.
Systems implementation experience. Knowledge of organizational development, change management and quality principles. Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation. Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools preferred. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with other HRMS such as API, Meditech, Position Manager a plus. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills i! ncluding written and verbal communication skills.
