The Associate Director, Patient Care Services (ADPCS)/Nurse Ex! ecutive (NE) is delegated full responsibility for the direction, control, coordination, operation and evaluation of programs and units within Medical Center Education, Geriatrics and Extended Care/Community Living Center (CLC), Rehabilitative Medicine, Supply Processing and Distribution (SPD), Customer Service and Ancillary Services. Incumbent is the organization's executive level nursing leader with full responsibility for the direction of nursing care delivery. Incumbent is also responsible for indirect supervision/coordination of select personnel from the following allied health services: Recreation and Social Work.
Practice is of an executive nature, comprised of complex managerial and administrative components, associated with critical health care issues and activities that influence the organizational mission. There is a substantial sphere of influence across multiple programs, and across the full continuum of care (inpatient, outpatient, and extended). Involvemen! t in multi-site, regional, and /or natural professional and he! alth related issues is integral to the assignment. He/She must have familiarity with managed care principles and philosophies, continuous quality improvement techniques, strategic planning, patient care management, human resource issues, and the ability to understand the provision of modern health care.

Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed.
