• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an approved registered nursing program
• Four years clinical education
• At least, five years direct patient care in a clinical department and a minimum of three years
• Application Administration required.

Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of team members as well as be able to comfortably communicate at the Director and executive management level. Will work effectively with other groups in the Information Systems department to meet user needs and maintain a commitment to Customer Service Excellence. Will be responsible for applying best practices in nursing theory, evidence-based care findings, software and hardware systems to meet the clinical information system demands in providing outstanding patient care. Will interact with all clinicians in the patient care continuum physicians, nursing, and clinical ancillary departments. Will also, assist in the development, implementation, education, and support of designated clinical information systems and projects. As well, will implement methods/procedures to improve the clinical use of existing and new applications as the organization moves toward a complete EMR. May be assigned to lead a major systems development project, or to manage the on-going maintenance of a group of related systems.
