Detailed specification about this career opportunity kindly read the description below. CAKY-Louisville located in Hillview is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This person will help us to ensure the highest level of quality care to the individuals we support, which is individ! uals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Ensuring that all medications are being administered correctly to each individual we support.
• That we have the correct prescription/documentation to support administering the medication.
• For all staff training pertaining to medication administration and/or anything medical/health related.
• For ensuring that the individuals attend all doctor's appointments and that all follow up is completed.
• For participating on the Safety, Human Rights, and Incident Committees.
• For attending all Management Meetings.

This position requires a GREAT deal of flexibility as you never know when an individual might have a doctor's appointment or need to be evaluated by our nurse. You will have an office here at the Core office, but you will have to travel to the individual's homes and to doctor's appointments as needed. Wh! en possible, a company car will be provided. In addition to be! ing flexible, you must have excellent computer and customer service skills. This is a very fast-paced position so you must be extremely organized and work well under extreme pressure as several people could be seeking your assistance at once. Therefore, you must also be able to prioritize.

Please note that this is a salaried position that pays $45,000-$50,000 a year based on experience. Pay will be broken down into 24 paychecks a year/semi-monthly on the 10th and 25th of the month for as long as employed in this position and as long as you worked the required hours within that pay period to receive a check on said pay dates.
Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.

Minimum age requirement is 18. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel internal and external to the company. Capable of working responsibly with confidential information. Must be able to work as a part of a team. Must meet all agency requirements for! pre-employment as required by ResCare and/or State regulations
