Assistant Professor of Exercise Science

Location: Louisville Kentucky

Description: Bellarmine University is presently looking of Assistant Professor of Exercise Science right now, this job will be placed in Kentucky. Bellarmine University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track academic appointment teaching undergraduate level professional courses in the Exercise Science program. Duties for this tenure-track position include teaching health and human performance in exercise physiology lecture and lab, testing and prescription for general and special populations, and kinesiology. Outstanding candidates with strengths in one of these fields and other departmental areas such as measurement and evaluation, biomechanics, nutrition for sport and exercise will also be considered.

The successful candidate will engage in teaching and advising, scholarly work, and professional and university service. Earned doctorate (ABD considered) in exercise science, exercise physiology, or other related field. NSCA or ACSM certification preferred. Having an athletic trainer background would be a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualification.
