Location: Eastern Kentucky

Description: Infinity Locums is currently seeking to employ Locum Tenens Psychiatry Physician right now, this vacancy will be placed in Kentucky. Further informations about this vacancy opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Psychiatry physician employment in Kentucky :
This locums psychiatry need in Eastern Kentucky starts 11/28-3/28.

They need the holidays co! vered (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). Then they will need full time coverage thereafter from January â€" on.
It is possible they could use someone for full time coverage starting in October if you can last through January 2013.

Practice details include the following:

• 100% Inpatient
• You'll work Monday through Friday, 8-4:30 (more or less depending on daily work load).
• You will rotate call, taking equal amounts of weekday and weekend call. Some locums prefer to take additional call, which is generally fine.
• Adults 18 and older
• Average patients per day is 15-18 depending on census.
• They also handle consultations for the Medical Center, which are handled on a rotation (like call). Current ADC is running around 84, with ALOS at 11 days.
• They have a full multi-disciplinary team including nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, art therapy, social work, and community liaisons.
Their facility is state-of-the-art featuring a Recovery Cente! r where treatment is offered during the day.
• Common diagnosis include affective disorders and psychotic disorders. Up to 45% of our patients may have a co-morbid substance use/abuse diagnosis. They also see a lot of medical co-morbidity. They do contract with a medical group, who conducts history and physical exams upon admission and is available for medical consultation throughout length of stay

Locums pay is 160.00 an hour. Furnished housing near to the facility. Travel and malpractice are also covered. Excellent staff to work with.
