Description: Logan Memorial Hospital is at the momment seeking for Med Surg- FT RN- 7A-7P, every other weekend right now, this position will be placed in Kentucky. In addition, each employee is responsible to abide by and uphold the Logan Memorial Hospital Standards of Performance.

Specific Job Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the planning, coordinating, prescribing, and delegating of all patient care activities provided to patients on his/her assigned shift in accordance with Kentucky Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies. Is responsible for the supervision of care provided by LPN's and Nurse Assistants within the unit. Provides direct and indirect patient care to assigned patients including assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, and treatments/procedures as ordered by the physician. Appropriately communicate changes in patients clinical condition including results of diagnostic symptomatology. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Functions as charge/team leader as needed. Competent in the Meditech computer system. Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing. Current State of Kentucky (or Compact State) licensure. Current BLS Certification Critical Thinking, Communication, and Interpersonal Relationship Skills.
